Ok so I realize that the “City of Pawnee” on Parks and Recreation is a fictitious place. But it is supposed to emulate a real Indiana city. I think it does well. Aside from the disturbing lack of rain, it could totally be a real place in the Midwest.
However…
…the opening credits disturb me. There is a clip during the theme of a couple riding bikes over a bridge.
That bridge is in Central Park!
Yes folks, it’s called Bow Bridge. And it’s not in Indiana. Now I realize that not all the other images and video clips were taken in Indiana. Perhaps none of them were! But they all at least look like they could be. Parks and Recreation…I heart you, but you are not fooling this Hoosier!
