I was watching the final Harry Potter movie the other night and remembered that I had been to J.K. Rowlings site a few years ago. It included some interesting stuff not mentioned in the books so I thought I’d mosey on over and take a gander. Certainly there would be something new after several years.
Holy. Crap. I’ve discovered Pottermore.
It’s amazing. It’s loads of extra content. And if you read the books and rediscover each chapter as they suggest while learning new content (how I’ve decided to do it), it’s just that much cooler. I’ve already learned about the Dursleys, how Privet Drive got it’s name, been to Diagon Alley to purchase my school supplies, been chosen by a wand, sorted into a house and collected lots of items and information about other characters who might have otherwise remained a mystery. I know…total nerd. But it’s awesome.
